and also buy some thing ₹30 you have left ₹30
and also buy some thing ₹ 18 you have left 12
and also buy some thing ₹12 you have left ₹00
₹ 60:- 40
₹ 30:- 30
₹ 18:- 12
₹ 12:- 00
total₹100:-102

Answer:

Amount you have with you: ₹100

Rice =₹40

Vegetable =₹30

Tea =₹18

Pakoda =₹12

So, they were the costs of individual items. Add them up you'll get ₹100/-.

It wouldn't be right to equate total price with total of left over money with you.

Subtract the expenses from the sum that's left with you,

100 - 40 = 60,

60 - 30 = 30,

30 - 18 = 12,

12 - 12 = 0

LHS :

(100+60+30+12 = 202) - (40+30+18+12 = 100)

RHS:

(60+30+12+0 =102)

There is a difference of ₹2/- that will come. Make sure you do math operation with similar entities.
