circumference=2×pi×r
circumference/2×pi=r. (where r= radius)
hence, 2r=2(circumference/2×pi) (2r=diameter)
diameter =2(circumference/2×pi)

Hey there !!

SITUATION :- If circumference of a circle is given, and we have to find the diameter of the circle.

↪ Let 'x' be the circumference of a circle. And 'r' be the radius of the circle.
Now, 2πr = x
2 × 3.14 × r = x
6.28r = x
r = x / 6.28

As we know, diameter = 2 × radius
Diameter = 2 × ( x / 6.28 )
Diameter = 2x / 6.28
Diameter = x / 3.14

klynn: the circumference is 62.8 can you do that?
Anonymous: well
Anonymous: Circumference = 62.8 , 2πr = 62.8 , 2×3.14×r = 62.8 , r = 62.8/6.28 , r = 10
Anonymous: As we know, d = 2r , d = 2(10) , d = 20
