We know speed = distance/ time

so distance= speed × time

so distance = 330×3

=990

The distance is 990 m

Answer:

990m approx.

Explanation:

Given: speed of sound, v = 330 m/s

time taken , t = 3 s

as we know,

v = d/t

=> d = 330 ms^-1 × 3 s (putting the given values

=990 m ( s and s inverse cancel out)
