properties of parallelogram :
- The opposite sides are parallel.
- The opposite sides are congruent.
- The opposite angles are congruent.
- Consecutive angles are supplementary (add up to 180-degrees).
- The diagonals bisect each other.
Solution:
Since, the sum of any two adjacent angles of a parallelogram is equal to 180°. If one angle is increased , the other adjacent angle will decrease to that degree to get a sum of 180°.
