Explanation:

If you increase the resistance of the load of constant current supply, the voltage will drop proportional to the change in resistance. This change can be calculated by the potential different across the load thus: p.d.=r×I=change in voltage of the main supply. Therefore v-Ir=V(Resultant voltage).
