Answer:

Anwar takes away 7 from 5/2 of number, then remaining is 23.

So, 5/2 of x - 7 = 23

5/2 x = 30.

Hence, x = 30*2/5 = 12.

Answer:

a) (8x ) +4 = 60

    x = 7

b)  ( 1/5 x ) -4 = 3

    x= 35

c)  (3/4 x ) +3 =21

      x = 24

d)  2x - 11 = 15

    x= 13

f) (  x + 19)  / 5 = 8

    x= 21

g)  (5/2  x) - 7 = 23

   x= 12
