Muhammad Ali Jinnah was revered to as Quaid-e-azam. The title means "Great Leader" in Urdu.

He was the main leader of All India Muslim League from 1913 to 14th Aug, 1947. He is a legendary figure in the struggle of independence of Pakistand and his birthday is celebrated as holiday in this country. He used to be Pakistan's governor-general before he came to be the leader of All India Muslim League.
