Answer:

2) since there are 420 students nand 60% of them are girls,

so ,number of girls in school=

 \frac{60}{100} \times 420

which is equal to 252

when 20 girls left the school

number of girls in school get reduced to 232

and total number of students also get 400

now the new percentage of girls =

 \frac{number \: of \: girls}{total \: number \: of \: students\: } \times100 \\ = \frac{252}{400} \times 100 \\ = 63\%

here is your answer dear

3) so anshu bought 400 eggs at ₹8.4 per dozen

therefore first we need to convert 400 eggs into dozens so simply divide it with 12 since a dozen = 12 then for total cost we will multiply with cost of one dozen

therefore cost =

 \frac{400}{12} \times 8.4 \\ = 280

therefore money used to buy 400 eggs = 280

and now anshu wants to gain a profit if 15%

there's cost at which she will sell 400 eggs =

 \frac{115}{100} \times 280 \\ = 322

I have used 115 because she is selling with gain of 15 % meaning she is getting full money back and getting more money so 100% = ₹280 but then she will not have no gain or loss. hope you understand.

she must sell the eggs at ₹322, but the question is asking per 100 eggs so from 400 to convert to 100 we will divide it with 4.then we will get the required answer

so 322÷ 4= ₹80.4

therefore 80.4 is your answer

hope it helps

have a great day ahead <3
