Answer:

it's simple

given two matrix equation

2A + B = [ 3 -4 ] ------------------ (1)

2 7

A - 2B = [ 4 3] ---------------(2)

1 1

now multiply equation (1) by 2

so we have

= 2*(2A + B) = 2[ 3 -4 ]

2 7

= 4A + 2B = [ 6 -8 ] -------------(3)

4 14

now addition equation (3) with equation (2)

so we have

4A + 2B + ( A - 2B) = [ 6 -8 ] + [ 4 3 ]

4 14 1 1

4A + 2B + A - 2B = [ 10 -5 ]

5 15

5A = [ 10 -5 ]

5 15

A = [ 2 -1 ]

1 3

now put the value of matrix A in equation (2)

= A - 2B = [ 4 3 ]

1 1

= [ 2 -1 ] - 2B = [ 4 3 ]

1 3 1 1

= -2B = [ 4 3 ] - [ 2 -1 ]

1 1 1 3

= 2B = [ 2 -1 ] - [ 4 3 ]

1 3 1 1

= 2B = [ -2 -4 ]

0 2

= B = [ -1 -2 ]

0 2

hope u understood it
