In my opinion, when you have anxiety and you know the source of it, and you ignore it, it'll just get worse. As you try to ignore it, it'll get more and more prominent. You'll get distracted while doing things, as your mind keeps thinking about it. As you try to forget it, it just keeps coming back. The only way out is to pursue the source of anxiety
