Solution :-

Finding Prime factors of 6 , 8 and 10 we get,

→ 6 = 2 * 3

→ 8 = 2 * 2 * 2

→ 10 = 2 * 5

So,

→ LCM (6, 8, 10) = 2 * 2 * 2 * 3 * 5 = 120

now, given that, when we make a garland of 6,8 or 10 flowers from the flowers in the basket, 5 flowers are left each time.

then, we need to find the least number which when divided by 6, 8 and 10 gives remainder as 5 .

therefore,

→ Required number = LCM(6, 8, 10) + Remainder

→ Required number = 120 + 5

→ Required number = 125 (Ans.)

Hence, the least number of flowers present in the basket is Option (4) 125 .
