.) If you push a heavy box which is at rest, you must exert some force to start its
motion. However, once the box is sliding, you can apply a lesser force to maintain

it is understand by the Newton first law of motion (inertia) when body will be in rest there must be a force act on a body to be in motion .But when body move according to second law of Newton body gain momentum so less force is needed .
