Even though the man exerts force on the wall , the wall does not move. Work done = force applied * displacement and since the displacement of the wall is zero. , work done is also zero.

Yes , if you push a wall then It does not move because it is fixed at a place and the force used to push a wall is not enough to push it.
so we can say that when we push a wall we are actually not doing any work ..
