if you put a wet cloth on bottles how does the bottles stay cold explain using particle theory? ​

You know water evaporates - that's when it turns from a liquid to a gas. You probably also know that a hot pot of water will cool off in part because of evaporation. However, did you know that a cup of water at room temperature will also cool off? Yes, even if the water starts at room temperature it will cool off to below room temperature. I think this is awesome.

Yes, water is actually two hydrogen atoms with an oxygen atom. This is why we call it H2O. However, for now let's just pretend like it is a single thing. These water particles are just moving around in some cup or container. Some particles are moving fast and some not so fast.
