The tongue is the organ of taste the front back and the edges of our tongue are covered with taste buds whenever we put little sugar the sweet taste buds present at the tip of tongue respond to brain so we feel sweet

Anonymous: it has been found out recently that the sweet taste buds are really not located at the tip of the tongue.it is a misconception....

If you put some sugar in your mouth it tastes sweet. This is because the taste organ or the tongue in our mouth contains small bud like structures known as taste buds which sense the taste of the sugar and sends a signal to the brain saying it is sweet. These taste buds cover the whole surface of the tongue.
