An object start moving in a circular path of radius R. from point A. The magnitude of displacement of the object. when it reaches point B is :​

The displacement is the minimum distance between the initial position and final position.

Suppose a particle starts at a point A at the periphery of the circle and after covering half the circle, particle is at point B.

The minimum distance between points A and B is AB which is also the diameter of the circle.

Therefore, displacement after covering half the circle =Diameter=2r
