Hiii friend,
Let the number be X.
Subtract 1/8 from X we get,
X - 1/8
=> 8X - 1/8
Multiply 8X-1/8 by 1/4 we get,
8X-1/8 × 1/4 = 1/16
8X -1/8 × 1/4 = 1/16
8X-1/32 = 1/16
16(8X-1) = 32
128X - 16 = 32
128X = 32+16
128X = 48
X = 48/128 = 3/8
Number = X = 3/8
