Well, if you will take a bottle of water in moon or in the space the gravity of space is low so, the water released on the moon will immediately freeze into small ice crystals and slowly fall to the ground. Once sunlight hits the crystals they will sublimate directly from ice to vapor and disperse, leaving no trace...
