If you take a mixture of znso4 and cuso4 solution in a Beaker and zinc rod and copper rod are inserted in it , will you get electricity. Give reason​

Explanation:

Copper sulphate is a solution that has blue colour. There will be a displacement reaction on the addition of zinc granules/strip, and therefore the formation of zinc sulphate will occur. The color will disappear and heat (exothermic reaction) will be released.

Since, Zinc is higher than copper in electro-chemical series, thus it will displace copper from it's solutions.  Zinc will displace copper from the compound to form the zinc sulpahate.

The chemical equation for the same is -

Zn + CuSO4 -> ZnSO4 + Cu
