It slips from our hand because when we apply soap in our hand it decreases the frictional force thus resulting very low frictional force between our hands and glass tumbler.

It is difficult to hold a glass with soapy hands because soap acts as a lubricant. ... Glass itself has a smooth surface. The force of friction between a soapy hand and a glass is very less for a tight grip, and hence there are high chances of slipping.
