If you try to hold the glass with oil on your hands it tends to slip. why?

Because the oil reduces the friction between our hand and the glass .Therefore the glass with oil on our hands tends to slip

this is because the oil in our hand reduces friction due to which frictional force can't work properly. hence due to less frictional force glass slips
