if you uproot a plant from the soil, it leaves soon wilt. Give reason

they will get dry coz they can't get water and minerals from soil as it is not attached to the soil

Because plant take water and minerals from the soil by the roots then from stems it passes to all the parts of the plant such as fruit's flowers leaves etc . It helps leaves in the process of photosynthesis in plants. After uprooting root it doesn't get minerals & water for the plant therefore leaves as well as all part get wilt
