I like this thought very much I think that really means that if you want to succeed in life or if you have to shine in the world you should be laborious and hardworking to achieve your succession you should not be cosy call towards your goals you should be regd and stressed towards your goals to achieve them.

The above statement "If you want to shine like a sun, first burn like a sun" indicates or tells us that success is not all about studying hard but also it is about burning like a sun means be out of comfort zone and struggle hard. Sun shines (for us) but inside it burns. Hence, if u want to shine in the world or want to be a precious Jewel of the world, you have to burn inside (burn means struggle harder)
