1. For studying the structure of a stem of monocot plant, we will choose plants like stem of lilies, orchids, tulips, asparagus, bamboo, etc. By observing certain section of the stem of these plants under a microscope, we will get to know their anatomy.

2. Now to study the inner structure of the stem of dicot plant, we will choose stems of plants like mango, guava, radish, rose, papaya, etc.
