If you were a frog in which part of a lake would you most likely live?

Frogs and toads are amphibians, which means they live their lives both in water and on land. Typically, frogs breed and spend thier juvenile (or "larval") stage in the water, then spend some or virtually all of their adult lives on the land

If I were a frog, I would be an amphibian instead of a mammal.

Thus, I would like to go inside the water as well as on the land. That means the edge of the lake would be perfect. At a larval state i would be feeding on the plants under the water on the edges of the lake, and when matured I would eat the insects lurking in the bushes at the edges of the lake, I would avoid to go too deep inside the lake as there are higher chances to meet a predator(like snake) there.
