If you were a person of Britain could you support its colonisation as an indian could you support or reject colonisation give a brief account of your views

As a British, yes , I would support colonisation of India .. But, as an Indian, I have two view points :
1.I support colonisation because if the Brits did not capture us , we would still be under the rule of Muslim kings/emperors
2. Colonisation brought a sense of a country in us.
1. I don't support colonisation because the Brits imposed many laws and regulations that harmed the people of India who lived during the colonial times
2. the Brits friend us of our resources and when they left, we were left with nothing with and that (according to me) is the reason why we are behind other countries in the case of development
