If I was an astronaut, I would like to explore about the planet Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and the asteroid belt found between Mars and Jupiter.
EXPLANATION:
- The reason for choosing Jupiter would be because it is the largest planet in our solar system. Although, it is huge in size is mostly made up of gases. It has very unique atmosphere around it, and the giant Red Spot visible on the planet is actually a giant storm, that has been going on for about 300 years.
- For studying Saturn, the most important the most important thing would be find out about the rings of the planet. It is also confirmed by studies that Saturn has very low density, even lower than the water, so it would mean that Saturn would float on the surface of the earth.
- Also, the planet has the fastest blowing winds in the entire solar system. In case of Uranus, the most astonishing thing is its orbit which is tilted at approximately 90°, which makes the planet upside down. Scientists have predicted that this may have happened due to some collision by an asteroid, etc.
- Another important thing about Uranus is its appearance. It appears deep blue because of the presence of liquid methane in its upper atmosphere. For the asteroid belt found between Mars and Jupiter, it is predicted that it is the remnant of some planet which was destroyed millions of years ago, due to some collision.
- All these facts are fascinating and yet had not been fully explored, and if I was to explore about space, I would like to know more about these facts about these planets, and asteroids.
