If I were given the choice to change the title of the Black Aeroplane to ‘Divine Intervention’, I would certainly replace the title. I would do so because appearance of the black aeroplane in the storm was no less than a divine miracle. The black aeroplane not only gave hope to the narrator, but also guided him out of the storm. If that aeroplane would not have appeared, he would have got lost in the storm and due to fuel shortage his Dakota might have crashed.
