If you were given two soil samples, one from the desert and another from a forest. Ascertain the type of water that will found in each of the soils.

Water is same everywhere.

Here, it could be true the water obtained from desert soil sample may have high traces of Florine, Calcium, Magnesium, this means the water found in such places is HARD WATER.

Whereas, Water found from forest soil sample will be clearer and pure due to be fact that different layers of soil, humus, clay, and gravel purifies the water. And would contain minimal traces of impurities hence, would be SOFT WATER.
