If I were living in medieval india , I would be as a chronicler in a king court so as the king, I would hold court in a castle or hall, and summon his nobles and people to appear before him so he could 'seek their advice and counsel' and dispense justice. These formal meetings would eventually develop into the institution of Parliament.
