Once upon a time there used to live some Holy men, on the banks of Ganga. The leader of those men, was a person associated with having magical like powers.

One day when he was praying on the side of the river, a tiny little mouse fell onto his hands out of thin air. He looked up to see that the mouse had fallen from the beak of a hawk. The man was quite happy with the mouse because he and his wife didn't bear any children.

Using his powers, he transformed the mouse into a little girl who he took to his wife. Upon seeing the little girl, the wife of the Holy man was delighted to discover that she will have a daughter to love and care for.

The Holy man told his wife, "She is our daughter now, so bring her up with care".

Many years later, the girl had grown all up and their parents decided to get her married to the greatest person in the entire world. For this, the man first summoned the sun. The girl said, "He is far too hot, I cannot marry him.", to which the sun answered, "when the clouds cover me, I cannot shine. He is greater than me". Upon hearing this, the cloud was summoned. "No, No, he is far too dark and stormy. I need someone better", the girl said.

The cloud responded, "The wind blows me, so he is greater than I am". The mouse girl next met the howling wind, who she bluntly refused to marry. Furthermore, the wind told the girl how the mountain was greater.

Now, the Holy man summoned the mountain, but the girl refused once again for he was "far too big". The Holy man next asked the mountain, 'Mighty mountain, let me know if there is someone more greater than you". To this he answered, "the mouse is the creature who bores holes in me, so he is greater than me".

Upon finding a mouse the girl exclaimed, "father father!, he is perfect for me". At last the Holy man turned the girl back into a mouse, to live happily ever after in the base of the mountain with her mouse partner.
