If you were the Prime Minister of India, what would you do to help improve the environment here?

I know it very well that I can’t be the Prime Minister. But I would like to shed some light if I were the Prime Minister.

Environmental issues are grave problems in present India .People are misusing Mother Nature and environment. But the saddest part is people are not bothered about the future, what could be the consequences that can occur from further neglecting. Celebrating earth day once in a year will not help in improving our nature and environment.

If I were the Prime Minister I would try my level best to to improve our environment. But everything depends on how the masses cooperate. I’m just listing some things that I as the Prime Minister would like to introduce.
· >>>>> Using public transport and using cycle for touring rather than using using personal cars. This would help in reducing air pollution and travelling on a cycle would keep us in good shape.
· >>>>> We can recycle various things so that we can use it in other ways.
· >>>>> Saving electricity is also important. We should save electricity as much as possible as we know saving electricity is equal to saving energy and saving energy means saving money.
· >>>>> Nowadays people are wasting water a lot. If they go on wasting water in this manner it might lead to a crisis of water one day. If there is no water then eventually there would be no life. Saving water little by little would make a great change.
· >>>>> Planting trees are also important. As we know trees help us in a handful of ways like it saves water, it prevents soil erosion, it provides food, it provides wood and what not.

These were some environmental changes I would like to do. But there are some other thing as well which I want to introduce in our country. Those things are listed below.
