If you wet your hand and pickup a ice tray that is below 0°C, your hand may stick to it. This doesn't happen to wood. Why? ​

This is because when we put ice on our hand the water present in our hand attracts the ice and hence it sticks to it

As the ice tray is below 0 degrees when u touch it with wet hands it will freeze the moisture of our hands and sticks.

but this phenomenon doesn't happen in the case of wood
