if you wet your hand and pickup an ice tray that is below 0 degree celsius , your hand may stick to it . This does not happen to wood.why?

wood is an insulator it reduces the temperature whereas ice of water is a conductor

as wood is the bad conductor of heat it do not allow to stick ice tray to hand

remember heat do not mean high temperature
