If I were in place of Prithviraj Chauhan in the Second Battle of Tarain, I would have avoided the following mistakes.

EXPLANATION:

• The Second Battle of Tarain was fought on 14th January 1192, in which the Rajput army was defeated, and it led to the establishment of first Islamic rule over India in the form of Slave Dynasty.  
• The Rajputs under Prithviraj Chauhan were not united. There were on going rivalries between them and they were not United to fight together against the foreign invader.
• In the First Battle of Tarain which was fought on 1191, Prithviraj Chauhan defeated Mohammad Ghori, but let him go without trails. This gave Ghori a time of nearly one year to assemble his army and to attack again.
