If your school does not have a playground. Write a conversation between two persons on what alternative arrangement could be made and how you could convince your school authorities to resolve the issues

First thing to do is to write a letter to the principal, correspondent and the chairman of the school.  You need to gently request him/her to arrange a playground in the nearby locality. there are many arguments or points which you could present in the favor of this argument.

If you could collect signatures of many students, on a petition/request, that will be good too to do it and submit the petition.

Perhaps there is a community playground or hall nearby. Or, a playground in the school nearby can be used during certain times. The principal can negotiate appropriately and arrange the much needed physical training and sports facilities.

Perhaps a floor above the school building can be built and that could create extra space in the school. Or, students can play on the roof. But it is dangerous. Students need some recreative activities to relieve themselves of the tensions and pressures of studies. Sports help good personal relations too. Some of you ask your parents to talk in the parent teacher meeting. Also in the annual meeting, the parents can talk to the management and ask in front of everyone.

Games and sports are needed for young boys and girls to balance their physical growth with mental growth. It is not at all advisable to play close to the road, causing inconvenience to the children as well as to the public.  It is quite dangerous too. So certainly a positive action must be taken.

Convince the management by going in a group and asking for an immediate initiative.  Show the promising young talent who would bring name and fame to the school, if playgrounds are available.  Let us say that education is not just business, but it is building a future generation and nation.

We could also say that, during the last year’s annual meeting, it was said that playground facilities would be arranged this year. So it is time that the school acted up on the promise.  Further that, there are many schools in the town that have playgrounds. We need to as competent and as skilled in extracurricular activities as in studies.  Especially it is even more needed now that CCE system is introduced in most of the schools (state or central). Extra-curricular activities form part of the assessment.  There are all these reasons for building a playground.

If the schools do not construct playgrounds, then how do schools or the nation expect to have winners and champions in future? After some years, there may not be any good sports persons in the country.
