z =  {2x}^{2}  + 3 {y}^{2} \\  \\  \frac{dz}{dx}  = 4x  + 6y \frac{dy}{dx}  \\  \\ at \: x = 1 \: and \: y = 3 \\  \\  \frac{dz}{dx}  = 4 + 18 \frac{dy}{dx}

This is the answer. Hope it helps

anilmishra81: dx/dy kaise aaya
Anonymous: because we are differentiating wrt to x
Anonymous: par wahan pe y term aa raha hain....tho woh completely differentiate nahin hota.
Anonymous: Therefore, we cannot completely differentiate as there is y term, so we do partial differentiation there.
anilmishra81: ok
