Question :

if z+b=az+c/b, calculate the value of "c", when z=12, b=3 and a=14

To find :

The value of c

Given Data :

z=12

b=3

a=14

Solution :

 \sf \small \: z + b = az +  \frac{c}{b}

Now we need to perform cross multiplication to get the variables easier

 \sf \small \: b(z + b) = az + c

 \sf \small \: zb +  {b}^{2}  = az + c

 \sf \small \: c = zb + b^{2} -  az

Now we need to put the values

 \sf  \small \: c = 12 \times 3 +  {3}^{2}  - 14 \times 12

 \sf \small \: c = 36 + 9 - 168

 \sf \small \: c = 45 - 168

 \sf \small \: c =  - 123

  • So the value of c is - 123
