Given : z^2+\frac{1}{z^2}= 34

To find : z^3+\frac{1}{z^3}

solution:

z^2+\frac{1}{z^2}= 34\\\\z^2+\frac{1}{z^2}+2\times z \times \frac{1}{z}= 34+2\times  z \times \frac{1}{z}\\\\(z+\frac{1}{z})^2= 34+2\\\\(z+\frac{1}{z})^2= 36 \\\\z+\frac{1}{z}= \sqrt{36}\\\\z+\frac{1}{z}=6\\\\now, \\\\z^3+\frac{1}{z^3}\\\\(z+\frac{1}{z})^3-3(z+\frac{1}{z})\\\\(6)^3-3(6)\\\\6\times 33\\\\198

hence , z^3+\frac{1}{z^3} = 198
