Given  : z1=(1+i) and z2=(-2+4i)

To Find :  Show that  Im (z1  z2)  = 2

Solution:

z1=(1+i)

z2=(-2+4i)

z1  z2  =(1+i)  (-2+4i)

= - 2 + 4i  - 2i +4i²

i² = - 1

= -2 + 2i - 4

= -6 + 2i

Im (z1  z2)  = 2
