If Z1 = a + ib and Z2 = c + id are two complex numbers then the product Z1 Z2 is defined as​

Answer:

Z1 = a+ib

z2= c+id

product of Z1 & Z2

(a+ib) * (c+id)

= ac +aid+Ibc+i^2 bd

=ac +aid+Ibc-bd

=ac-bd + I (ad+bc)

where ac-bd is real part & I(ad+bc) imaginary part

also it is defined as a complex number

note : we know that I =√1 ,I square = -1
