let the two roots be 3x and 2x

from the equation a =1,b=-k,c=6

sum of roots = 3x+2x = 5x = -b/a

5x= -k

product of roots = (2x)(3x) = 6x^2 = c/a

6x^2 = 6

x^2 = 1

x=1

since x=1 sub substituting in 5x=-k

5(1) = -k

k=-5

x²-kx+6

X=-b+√D/2a
X=-b-√D/2a

here D=b²-4ac
by put value u get D=k²-4*6=k²-24

X=k+√k²-24/2

X=K-√k²-24/2
ON DIVIDING BOTH OF THE
AND RATIONALIZE THEM
U WILL GET THE ANS

khushisingh9026: ya..i get the ans.5
