If zeros of the polynomial X² + 4x+ 2a are alpha and one upon alpha then find the value of a.

Given :-

p (x) = x^2+4x+2a

Zeroes = A & 1/A...............(A = alpha)

To Find :-

Value of a

Solution :-

p (x) = x^2+4x+2a

a = 1 , b = 4 , c = 2a

Product Of Zeroes = c/a

A × 1/A = 2a/1

1 = 2a

a = 1/2
