if3(2x-1)=2(x-4)+1 find x

Answer:

3(2X-1) =2(X-4) +1

=6X-4=2X-8+1

6X-4=2X-7

6X-2X=-7+4

4X=-3

X=-3/4

3(2x-1) = 2(x-4)

= 6x - 3 = 2x - 8

6x - 2x = -8 + 3

4x = -5

x = -5/4
