If we multiply the 1st equation with 3 and the 2nd equation with 2...and add those two...we get x=31/13

and if we put the value of x in the 1st equation we get

y=-14/13

Answer:

given 2x+3y=8

X+2y=5

from (1),we have X=2

8-3y........

from (2),we have x-5-2y

now compare the value of X,we get 2 8-3y

=5-2y.or 8-3y=10-4y
