Ifa,ß be the two roots of 2square + 3x + 2 = 0, 'form an equation whose roots are
(1) a +1 and b+1, (ii) and
alpha / beta , beta / alpha

Answer:

2x²+3x+2 = 0

sum of roots = a+b = -b/a = -3/2

product = c/a = 2/2 = 1

we know ,

(a-b)² = (a+b)²-4ab

putting values we get

(a-b)² = (-3/2)² -4 = 9/4 - 4 = -7/4

(a-b) = (-7)/2

solve for a & b now ...
