I will represent alpha and beta as a and b respectively

a-b=1. (Given).....…(1)

a+b=-b/a

=-(-5)/1

=5………(2)

Adding (1) and (2)

a+b=5

a-b=1

———-

2a =6

———-

a=3

b=2

Now, a*b=c/a

3*2= k

6=k

Therefore the value of K is six
