Solution :-

Ratio of angles = 2 : 3 : 4

That means they are a part of a total

As we know that

Sum of all angles in a = 180°

Now ,

2x + 3x + 4x = 180°

9x = 180°

x = 180°/9

x = 20°

Now , finding smaller angle by finding all the angles and by comparing the angles

1st angle → 2x = 2(20) = 40°

2nd angle → 3x = 3(20) = 60°

3rd angle → 4x = 4(20) = 80°

40° < 60° < 80°

Hence , smallest angle in the = 40°

Solution :

Let the angles are 2x, 3x, 4x.

___________________________

According to angle sum Property we know that, the sum of interior angles of triangle is 180°.

2x + 3x + 4x = 180°

9x = 180°

x = 180/9

x = 20

Therefore,

  • 2x = 2(20) = 40°

  • 3x = 3(20) = 60°

  • 4x = 4(20) = 80°

Hence, the value of smaller angle is 40°.
