Answer:

slant height(l) =60 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

πr(r+l) =1474

22/7 × 7(7+l) =1474

l+7=1474/22

l+7 =67

l =67 -7

l=60

hence proved

The formula for Total Surface Area (TSA) of the cylinder is (2πrh + 2πr²) or 2πr(h + r).

Thus, in the above problem,

Diameter = 14cm

Therefore, Radius (r) = 7cm

TSA = 1474m²

Thus, 2πr(h + r) = 1474m²

=> 2 * 22/7 * 7(h + 7) = 1474

=> 44 * 7/7(h + 7) = 1474

=> 44(h + 7) = 1474

=> h + 7 = 1474/44

=> h + 7 = 33.5

=> h = 26.5m

Thus, the height of the cylinder is 26.5m
