X= 1/2+√3 , y=1/2-√3

1/(x+1) + 1/(y+1)=?

X+1 = 1/2 + root3 +1

X+1 = 3/2 + root3

1/ X+1 = 1/(3/2 + root3)

= (3/2 - root3)/(9/4 - 3)

= (3/2 - root3)/(-3/4)

= -2 + 3root3/4

Y = 1/2 - root3

Y+1 = 3/2 - root3

1/(Y+1) = 1/(3/2 - root3)

= (3/2 + root3)/(9/4 -3)

= (3/2 + root3)/(-3/4)

= -2 - 3root3/4

1/(x+1) + 1/(y+1)= -2 + 3root3/4 + -2 - 3root3/4

= -4
